About Us

TalkBack, Inc. was founded in 2003 by Ashley Morris, MSP, CCC-SLP to provide quality speech and language therapy services to children. In 2007, we began providing speech, language, and feeding therapy in the Tri-cities and surrounding areas of East Tennessee. In 2008, we opened our Kingsport clinic followed by the opening of our Johnson City clinic in 2010.

In 2011, we expanded our services to include Occupational and Physical Therapy services in both of our Kinsport and Johnson City clinical offices.

Our therapists are board certified and licensed in the state of Tennessee and provide a diverse range of expertise in pediatric therapy and development.

Our Founder:

Ashley Morris, MSP, CCC-SLP, graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary education from Clemson University n May 1998 and a Masters of Speech Pathology (plus 30 hours) from the University of South Carolina in August 2000.

Ashley has worked as as an independent contractor in school, daycare, home, and hospital settings in North Carolina and Tennessee. She also has experience working with Cochlear Implants in children. Ashley holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from and is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She has her Tennessee license from the Tennessee Board of Examiners in Speech Language Pathology. She is also a member of the Tennessee Association of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists (TAASLP).
